Diaz, Masvidal to Settle Rivalry in Anaheim
Diaz Looks to Even the Score
Former UFC stars Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will resume their rivalry in Anaheim on Saturday, July 6. The two fighters first met in November 2019 for UFC's original BMF title, with Diaz emerging victorious by majority decision. Now, Masvidal will have a chance to avenge his loss and claim the bragging rights.
The Road to Anaheim
Since their first fight, both Diaz and Masvidal have had their ups and downs. Diaz has fought just once since then, losing to Leon Edwards in June 2021. Masvidal, on the other hand, has been more active, winning two of his last three fights. However, he also suffered a brutal knockout loss to Colby Covington in March 2022.
